As a Private Pilot, you are allowed to fly recreational flights in our aircraft available for Hire & Fly or in your own aircraft.

Requirements to obtain your PPL:
- A minimum age of 17 years (solo at 16)
- 25 Hrs dual with instructor
- 15 Hrs solo
- 5 Hrs Cross Country Solo
- Pass PPL Theory (8 subjects)
- Class I or II medical
With a Commercial Pilot Licence you may carry passengers or cargo and be rewarded for your skill.

You can obtain your CPL on a single Engine or Twin Engine Aircraft.
Requirements to obtain your CPL:
- A minimum age of 18 years
- A valid PPL with night rating
- 200 Hrs flight time including
- Pass the CPL Theory
- Class I Medical

The Night Rating allows the pilot to fly the aircraft at night in VFR conditions.
The requirements to obtain a night rating is as follows:
- Hold a valid PPL
- You must undergo at least 10hrs of Instrument Instruction:
5hrs may be done on an approved FSTD (Flight Simulation Training Device)
-Not less than 5 take-offs and landings by night, whilst under dual instruction, must be completed
- A triangular dual night cross-country of at least 150nm
- A theoretical knowledge examination must be written
- A flight test with a Grade I or II instructor must be passed
The Instrument rating allows the pilot to fly the aircraft with reference solely to the instruments in weather conditions that are below the minimum requirements to fly by VFR (Visual Flight Rules).
The rating can be completed as a single-engine or multi-engine IF Rating.
The Instrument Rating requires 40 Hrs of flying of which 20 is in the Simulator and 20 in the aircraft.
A test is done by a Designated Flight Examiner, DFE.
The Instrument Rating makes the Commercial Pilot's Licence more attractive to possible employers. Speak to us to schedule a meeting with our CFI to find out more.
As the holder of a Gr III Instructors Rating, you will be able to conduct (initial) Ab Initio training on the aircraft you are rated on. After a certain amount of instruction, you will be able to obtain your Gr II instructors rating. This will allow you to conduct more advanced training (Night Ratings, Instrument Ratings, PPL Skills Tests etc).
The requirements to obtain an Instructor's Rating:
A valid CPL or higher
A valid Instrument Rating
Pass the theoretical Exams
20 hours Instruction (Patter)
Flight test with a Designated Examiner
